Through professional video and podcast services, the studio fosters intergenerational collaboration and deeper connections within communities. By providing a safe space for talanoa (open conversations), Campfire Studios helps preserve cultural heritage and strengthen community ties.

With a proven track record of producing impactful podcasts and professional videos, Campfire Studios has supported a wide range of projects that have positively influenced business growth, community engagement, and the promotion of diverse perspectives. Notable productions include One More Win (2015), a documentary chronicling the journey of the Cook Islands Rugby team, and the Instruments of the Moana docuseries (2024), which preserves endangered Pacific Island instruments. Another key project, Tales of Pasifika Police in the Time of Dawn Raids (2023), shines a light on the experiences of Pacific Island police officers during New Zealand’s Dawn Raids.

In addition to its media production work, Campfire Studios is committed to educational and community development. The DigiKōr podcasting programme empowers young Māori and Pasifika students to improve their oral communication skills while connecting with their cultural roots through digital storytelling. This initiative nurtures the next generation of storytellers, ensuring that Pacific communities' oral traditions are preserved and passed down.

Campfire Studios has also worked on significant podcast productions like The Immigration Stat-US podcast, which helps new immigrants to Aotearoa, navigate the complexities of the immigration process, and a series with Zeducation that focuses on upskilling Māori and Pasifika educators. The studio also collaborated with PHD scholar Dr. Edmond Fehoko to produce a podcast series documenting the journeys of Pasifika PhD graduates, providing inspiring stories of personal development and academic achievement.

By creating authentic and engaging digital content, Campfire Studios plays a pivotal role in reducing the intergenerational divide, supporting meaningful conversations, and preserving the rich oral traditions of Māori and Pasifika communities for future generations.
